Volleyball Game Preview: West Cowboys vs. Bishop Watterson Eagles

The West Cowboys will face off against the Bishop Watterson Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 28.

On Wednesday, West came up short against Beechcroft and fell 3-1.

West was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Beechcroft work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 19-25, 25-14, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Bishop Watterson sidestepped Gilmour Academy for a 2-1 win.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bishop Watterson got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 21-25, 25-17.

The victory got Bishop Watterson back to even at 11-11. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
