Basketball Game Preview: Modesto Panthers vs. Pitman Pride

Modesto is 0-10 against Pitman since February of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Modesto Panthers will look to defend their home court against the Pitman Pride at 7:30 p.m.

Modesto is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 19th straight game on Friday. They were beaten by Enochs 81-52. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1103rd, while the Eagles are ranked 283rd).

Meanwhile, Pitman waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 58-41.

Modesto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Pitman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season.
