Baseball Recap: Colonel Crawford Comes Up Short

Colonel Crawford lost against Upper Sandusky on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles came up short against the Rams, falling 11-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colonel Crawford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Upper Sandusky, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Colonel Crawford will be playing in front of their home fans against Carey at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Upper Sandusky, they will head out on the road to square off against Mohawk at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
