Gloucester had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Swampscott Big Blue by a score of 11-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-1 back in April.

Gloucester's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Swampscott, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-9.
