Volleyball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast lost against Galena last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

While Northeast ultimately came up short, they really made Galena work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 16-25, 26-24.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 18-9-1. As for Galena, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-10.

Northeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against St. Paul on the 14th. As for Galena, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Chetopa on the 13th.
