Volleyball Recap: HomeSchool Resource Center Takes a Loss

HomeSchool Resource Center was the 2-0 winner over SWCHA S when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell just short of the Saints by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Poppy Mahalick paced HomeSchool Resource Center's offense, picking up nine kills. Mahalick got some help from Olivia Gillies and her 14 assists. Maisie Proffitt controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

HomeSchool Resource Center's loss dropped their record down to 20-11-3. As for SWCHA S, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, HomeSchool Resource Center will host Families of Faith Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. SWCHA S does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
