Shelbyville's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Warren Central Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Golden Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shelbyville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Warren Central between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-14.

Alivia Lee paced Shelbyville's offense, picking up nine kills. Lee got some help from Addy Marshall and her 27 assists. Lee also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Haehl, each putting up three.

Shelbyville's record is now 11-16. As for Warren Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Shelbyville will venture away from home to take on Lawrence North at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Warren Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
