Recap: MTI School of Knowledge vs. Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers
MTI School of Knowledge's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-41 defeat at the hands of Indiana School for the Deaf. MTI School of Knowledge has not had much luck with Indiana School for the Deaf recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Dylan Puent was his usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six assists and five steals for Indiana School for the Deaf. The contest was Puent's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Jayden DeFalco was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
MTI School of Knowledge's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
MTI School of Knowledge will head out on the road to face off against Purdue Broad Ripple at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they will face off against Texas School for the Deaf at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
