Soccer Game Preview: Revere vs. Rhodes

The Revere Minutemen will be taking part in a tournament against the Rhodes Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Revere is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Field on Saturday. The Minutemen fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Revere couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Rhodes brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Max S. Hayes back in September. The victory was some much needed relief for Rhodes as it spelled an end to their five-match losing streak.

Rhodes' win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Revere, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-3.
