Football Game Recap: Green River vs. Powell

Green River had a rough outing against Evanston last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Green River were the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over Powell. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Green River as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The win bumped Green River's record up to 2-5. Powell are on a four-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 2-6.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Green River take on Cody at 6:00 PM. Cody took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Green River's good fortune. As for Powell, they will face off against Jackson Hole. Powell's defense better steel itself: Jackson Hole are averaging 30.88 points per game.
