Savannah waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Benton Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Savages, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Savannah was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (84-75), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-20, 0-22.

Aryana Spry paced Savannah's offense, picking up eight kills. Spry got some help from Reece Gould and her 26 assists. Gould was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Savannah's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Benton, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Savannah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Crossroads Prep Academy on the 27th. As for Benton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sherwood on the 27th.
