Softball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

Hillsboro and Aubrey squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Hillsboro had to settle for second. They came up short against the Chaparrals, falling 10-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Aubrey, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Hillsboro nor Aubrey have any future games scheduled.
