Softball Recap: Jackson Ironman/Ironladies vs. Circleville Tigers
It was a good run, but Jackson unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Circleville Tigers by a score of 4-3.
Maddie Wright was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryn Denny, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Jackson's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6. As for Circleville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Circleville, they will be playing at home against New Lexington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Circleville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
