Basketball Recap: Serenity Farmer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat South Bend Adams

After losing to South Bend Adams the last time they met, South Bend Riley decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The South Bend Riley Wildcats came out on top against the South Bend Adams Eagles by a score of 53-45 on Friday. The Wildcats pushed the score to 46-26 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

South Bend Riley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Serenity Farmer, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Those nine rebounds gave Farmer a new career-high. Tory Harmon was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

The victory made it two in a row for South Bend Riley and bumps their season record up to 11-9. As for South Bend Adams, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

South Bend Riley will face off against Mishawaka Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Bend Adams has already played their next contest (against Mishawaka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
