Baseball Recap: Nezperce Takes a Loss

Nezperce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Genesee Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-3 on Saturday.

Nezperce saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jadin Williams, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Nezperce's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Genesee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nezperce will venture away from home to challenge Clearwater Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Genesee will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Colton at 4:00 p.m. on April 14th.
