Basketball Game Preview: Midland Christian Mustangs vs. Grace Prep Lions

The Midland Christian Mustangs will venture away from home to take on the Grace Prep Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Midland Christian comes in on four and Grace Prep on 17.

On Friday, Midland Christian strolled past Fort Worth Christian with points to spare, taking the game 67-49. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Cardinals are ranked 968th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Grace Prep got the win against All S on Tuesday by a conclusive 78-57. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Midland Christian's record is now 21-7. As for Grace Prep, their record now sits at 18-1.

Midland Christian came up short against Grace Prep in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, falling 55-49. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
