Soccer Recap: Eastbrook Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Eastbrook had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Columbia City Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Eastbrook were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbia City apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Coming up, Eastbrook will face off against Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Eastbrook's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Columbia City, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-2 defeat against Marion on the 25th.
