Soccer Game Preview: Peoples Academy vs. Hazen

Peoples Academy has gone 7-1 against Hazen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Wolves will face off against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Peoples Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Montpelier, who was ranked seventh at the time (Peoples Academy was ranked sixth). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw on Saturday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Peoples Academy's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Hazen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of U-32.

Peoples Academy's draw makes their record 11-0-1 this season. As for Hazen, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.

Peoples Academy took their win against Hazen in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wolves since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
