After having lost a blowout in their previous game against ABF Academy, Everglades was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Fort Lauderdale Flying L by a score of 5-2. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Flying L's, too.

Everglades let Eliezer Romero and Alex Mota run wild. Romero scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Mota went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base. Salvador Duran also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.
