Basketball Game Preview: Aurora Greenmen vs. Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers

The Aurora Greenmen will head out to face off against the Cuyahoga Falls Black Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Cuyahoga Falls took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Aurora, who comes in off a win.

Aurora will bounce into Friday's match after beating Copley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Aurora snuck past Copley with a 59-54 win on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Cuyahoga Falls ended up a good deal behind Revere on Tuesday and lost 55-40. The loss continues a trend for the Black Tigers in their matchups with the Minutemen: they've now lost seven in a row.

Aurora's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Cuyahoga Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Aurora came up short against Cuyahoga Falls in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 70-61. Can Aurora avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
