It was a proper cat-fight when Menaul challenged Santa Rosa on Thursday. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Lions. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Menaul had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.
