Modoc came tearing into Wednesday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Plumas Charter Warriors as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sam McCandless was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Collin Schluter, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Modoc always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.

Modoc's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Plumas Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.
