Softball Recap: New Holstein Takes a Loss

New Holstein was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kewaskum Indians. That's two games in a row now that the Huskies have lost by just one run.

Allie Heimermann made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

New Holstein's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kewaskum, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Coming up, New Holstein is taking a road trip to challenge Roncalli at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Jets have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Kewaskum, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against Chilton on the 14th.
