Softball Recap: Phoebus Comes Up Short

Phoebus and Menchville pushed the score to 19-0 the last time they played Menchville, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Phantoms fell just short of the Monarchs by a score of 1-0. The Phantoms' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Phoebus' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10-1. As for Menchville, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

As of now, neither Phoebus nor the Monarchs have any future games scheduled.
