Football Recap: Knox Central Comes Up Short

Knox Central came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the South Laurel Cardinals and fell 48-6. The Panthers lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 24-13 score last time.

Knox Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South Laurel, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Knox Central will square off against Martin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for South Laurel, they will host Whitley County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
