Baseball Recap: Fisher Beats John Ehret for Their Third Straight Victory

Fisher waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the John Ehret Patriots 9-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-5 two weeks ago.

Haiden Martin was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, Charles Shamp was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Fisher's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-2-1 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Pete Griffen, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.

Fisher's record now sits at 5-2-1. As for John Ehret, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
