Football Game Preview: Portland Panthers vs. Beech Buccaneers + Official Tickets

The Portland Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Beech Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Portland's defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so Beech's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Portland is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 48 points on October 3rd, they were much more limited against Davidson Academy on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 21-6 to the Bears. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The losing side was boosted by Shawn Sebring, who rushed for 116 yards.

Meanwhile, Beech waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They breezed past the Green Wave to the tune of 62-29. The Buccaneers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Beech's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Portland, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Portland might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from Beech in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Panthers were down 28-7.
