            The Woodford County Yellowjackets will take on the Scott County Cardinals at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Woodford County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game  this season.
Woodford County's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Collins with a sharp  17-0 victory. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive  win against them.
Woodford County got a great performance from  Kylie Stamper as she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Stamper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  Addie Bryant and  Lily Slayton did most of the damage at the plate:  Bryant  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Slayton  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double. Those  three  runs gave  Slayton a new career-high.  Natalie Johnson was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Scott County came tearing into  Thursday's  matchup with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   1-0 W against the Chargers. The one-run effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring  game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
The result came thanks to  Ada Little's shutout, as she gave up just five  hits and racked up 15 Ks.
 At the plate, Scott County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Katie Stevens, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double.
 Woodford County now  has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Scott County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-1.
