Utica came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Troy Colts with a sharp 8-2 win. Eight seems to be a good number for the Chieftains as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Utica now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Troy, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-6.

As of now, neither Utica nor the Colts have any future games scheduled.
