Basketball Game Preview: Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies vs. Wagner Red Raiders

The Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies are taking a road trip to square off against the Wagner Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Elk Point-Jefferson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 37-33 to Dell Rapids. The Huskies have struggled against the Quarriers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Wagner unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of Spirit Lake by a score of 50-48. The matchup marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elk Point-Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Wagner, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
