Baseball Recap: Malverne Comes Up Short

Malverne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 16-1 to the North Shore Vikings.

Malverne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tommy Brown, who went 1-for-2 with one run. Gavin Huertas also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Malverne's loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

While they had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
