It was fun while it lasted, but Ida Crown Jewish Academy's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Wednesday. They took a 51-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Trinity Tigers. The loss was the Aces' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ida Crown Jewish Academy fell to 5-1. As for Holy Trinity, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mooseheart at 6:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Holy Trinity, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lycee Francais de Chicago at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lycee Francais de Chicago knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Holy Trinity likes a good challenge.
