 Central had to endure  a  five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dundee-Crown Chargers  on Wednesday and snuck past  2-1. That's more bragging rights for Central, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Isabelle Reed spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Allie Botkin, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.  Danielle Durckel was another key contributor,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
