Basketball Recap: Forsyth Country Day Piles Up the Points Against R.J. Reynolds + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Forsyth Country Day). They breezed past the R.J. Reynolds Demons to the tune of 68-38 on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Forsyth Country Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lila Kelly, who posted 25 points. Kelly's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 19 points. Gigi Lyons was another key player, putting up 24 points.

When it comes to explaining why R.J. Reynolds lost, don't look at Evie Beale. Despite the final result, she shot 56% from the field on her way to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Brianna Gordon, who scored six points and six rebounds.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Forsyth Country Day, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for R.J. Reynolds, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
