Soccer Game Preview: Lynbrook vs. Milpitas

The Lynbrook Vikings will head out to square off against the Milpitas Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynbrook's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lynbrook took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Gunn, sneaking past 2-1. The Vikings wouldn't have won without Reagan Markert, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Milpitas was not quite Monta Vista's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Matadors.

Milpitas' loss dropped their record down to 6-3-6. As for Lynbrook, their win bumped their record up to 9-5-3.
