St. Joseph barely beat Elizabeth the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 41-20 margin over the Minutemen on Saturday. The Falcons have beaten the Minutemen the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Minutemen has come to flipping the script.

Elizabeth's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quameen Williams, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown. A'Rique Fleming was another key player, having thrown for 254 yards and two touchdowns.

St. Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

St. Joseph didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 24-0 win against Westfield on the 26th. As for Elizabeth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 35-21 loss against St. Thomas Aquinas on the 26th.
