Football Recap: Marion Gets the Win

Marion's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 21-13 win over the Oskaloosa Indians.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Oskaloosa, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Marion will venture away from home to face off against Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wolves will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games. As for Oskaloosa, they are taking a road trip to square off against Clear Creek-Amana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Clippers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.88 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
