            Softball Recap: Valders Vikings vs. Sheboygan Falls Falcons        
        
		
        
        
            Valders never let their opponents score on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Sheboygan Falls Falcons as they made off with  a  13-0 win. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

 Megan Hochkammer made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Hochkammer was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Arianna Hernandez, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Audrey Wagner, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
Valders has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1  runs this season. As for Sheboygan Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
 Looking ahead, Valders will take on Kewaunee at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Sheboygan Falls, they will challenge Howards Grove at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
