After a string of three wins, Casady's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to the Kingfisher Yellowjackets at home by a 64-48 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cyclones can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 24th).

Casady's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Kingfisher, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Casady didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-33 win against Cascia Hall on the 1st. Kingfisher has also already played their next match (against Weatherford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
