Everything went their way against the Columbus Falcons on Friday as they made off with a 31-20 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.
Chloe Andrews was incredible, scoring seven runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all eight of her plate appearances. She also put up two triples, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sarah Caldwell, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in six of her seven plate appearances.
Ridgeland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .617. The last time their batting average was this high was back in February of 2024.
Ridgeland's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Columbus, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-14.
