Lackey hasn't had much luck against Chopticon recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Chargers will take on the Braves. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lackey will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Monday, then bounced right back against Westlake on Wednesday. The Chargers were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Wolverines. The Chargers haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Chopticon waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on St. Charles with a sharp 20-8 win. The Braves' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Chopticon let Ryan Welch and Noah Pessagno run wild. Welch went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and two RBI, while Pessagno got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Adkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

Chopticon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .744. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
