Spanish River is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Lennard, who was ranked tenth at the time (Spanish River was ranked third). Spanish River was just a hair shy of victory on Saturday and fell 19-18 to Lennard. The Sharks' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Meanwhile, Archbishop McCarthy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 19-13 to Chaminade-Madonna.

Archbishop McCarthy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Spanish River, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
