Volleyball Recap: Raleigh Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Raleigh faced off against McLaurin on Tuesday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-20, 21-25, 25-16.

Raleigh's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raleigh will take on Mendenhall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McLaurin, they will venture away from home to take on Jefferson Davis County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
