Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Hildie Dempsey stepped things up a notch to give Jefferson the 'W'. Dempsey struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). The performance marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in April.
