Basketball Game Recap: Morton vs. Washington

After losing to the Morton Potters the last time they met, the Washington Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Washington beat Morton 45-38 on Saturday. The success made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The victory bumped Washington's record up to 14-12. The loss dropped Morton back to even at 14-14.

Washington will take on Pekin Saturday. Pekin is also hoping to continue their momentum after a 50-37 win over Canton on Saturday. As for the Potters, they will face off against Metamora Saturday. Morton isn't the favorite to win, but, of course, any team can defy the odds on the right day.
