Basketball Recap: Gulf Breeze Takes a Loss

Gulf Breeze was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pigeon Forge Tigers.

Gulf Breeze's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Pigeon Forge, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gulf Breeze will square off against Crestview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pigeon Forge, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Seymour at 6:00 p.m. on December 5.
