Wasatch Academy came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 75-51 margin over the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Bulldogs are ranked 41st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Judge Memorial Catholic had strong showings from JJ Apathjang, who went 10 of 18 en route to 27 points and six boards, and AJ Peek, who posted 12 points. Apathjang's evening made it 14 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Wasatch Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they moved to 13-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Wasatch Academy will host Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cottonwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66 points per game this season. Judge Memorial Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 71-42 victory against Providence Hall on the 5th.
