Soccer Game Preview: Agoura vs. Oaks Christian

The Agoura Chargers will take on the Oaks Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Agoura's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with seven losses in a row, Agoura turned things around against Westlake on Monday. They and the Warriors finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Chargers have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Oaks Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Newbury Park, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 731st, while the Panthers are ranked 95th).

Oaks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-13-1. Agoura's draw makes their record 1-9-3 this season.
