Soccer Recap: West Hills Find Success

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, West Hills brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holtville Vikings a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wolf Pack's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

West Hills' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-2. As for Holtville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Hills will venture away from home to challenge Sage Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Holtville, they will head out to square off against San Diego Jewish Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
