Basketball Recap: Timberline Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eagle last Tuesday, Timberline came back down to earth. The Timberline Wolves fell just short of the Meridian Warriors by a score of 55-52 on Friday. The Wolves have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Timberline's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Meridian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Timberline will host Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully Timberline likes a good challenge. As for Meridian, they will venture away from home to square off against Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
